Job Description

Talis Group’s client is a globally expanding company with prestigious reputation in the Automotive industry.  This fast paced manufacturer seeks hands-on Quality Engineer for location in the Florida Panhandle area. The ideal candidate will be flexible and thrive on project variety, including new line start-up, inspection, testing, data collection, and implementation of corrective action. Company offers full benefit package and relocation if necessary.

Job Requirements

Highlighted Duties:
  • Assist with new line startup and existing line troubleshooting
  • Manage inspections, product testing, data collection, supplier reviews, tooling and audits
  • Assist with replacement of parts and/or equipment
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action counter measures
  • Review and make recommendations for disposition of non-conforming products
  • Contribute and assist in continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in quality and environmental system to meet customer and company standards
  • Participate and coordinate APQP process and PPAP submissions
Highlighted Requirements:
  • Bachelors required, B.S. in Engineering preferred
  • 2+ years of Automotive industry experience preferred
  • Must have experience with PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and GD&T tools
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organizations - operators to plant manager 
  • Experience with TS 16949 / IATF preferred
