A Talis Group client is seeking to hire a Quality System Coordinator. This position is a ‘direct hire’ position. 

Talis Group’s client is focused on a culture of development and training for happy work/life balanced team members. This highly successful and growing Tier1 automotive manufacturer (with plants across the U.S.) is searching for a Quality System Coordinator.  This position will be a member of the company Support Center and will support the efforts of multiple sites. This person must be based out of the Detroit, MI area or Louisville, KY area.  The company has a strong focus on quality, safety and customer service.  $60 - 75K + generous benefits package. This is a tremendous opportunity for a qualified candidate.  If that is you, submit your resume today! Highlighted Duties

  • Work with customer and suppliers to establish quality requirements for all new business
  • Serve as Quality contact and communicate customer instructions to plants for implementation
  • Conduct plant Quality audits
  • Lead the implementation of the QMS and other mandated certifications
  • Manage plant and corporate QA Program
  • Develop persons to perform quality responsibilities at the individual plants
  • Maintain QMS, including KPIs
  • Coordinate all training related to the Quality Management System
  • Responsible for QMS Document Control

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with in-depth knowledge of Quality system processes and practices. Automotive preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate individuals to get required results
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
