A Talis Group client is seeking to hire QC/QA Manager. This is a ‘direct hire’ position. 

Talis Group’s client is a company which uses expertise and technology to promote health and quality of life. They produce natural ingredients for flavor enhancement, sodium reduction, shelf life extension in food market.   • Direct, implement, test and improve all quality assurance and quality control for the production facility, warehouses, etc.
  • Manage and train quality staff
  • Maintain required documentation, statements, SDS’s, etc.
  • Maintain SQF certification
  • Complete HACCP plan
  •  Investigate customer complaints and create and implement corrective actions to resolve issues
  • Monthly Audit of Facility for GMP’s, Pest Control, HACCP, and Sanitation
  • Coordinate all QC Testing and give Final Release or Rejection
  • Oversee Environmental Monitoring program (Louisville site)
  • Develop and maintain budget

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in biology, chemistry, agricultural business, microbiology or food science required
  • 3-5 years of laboratory or quality management experience required
  • Certified as SQF Practitioner
  • Certified in HACCP
  • GFSI Certification or ability to get certified
  • Strong knowledge of FDA/food safety
  • Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
