Job Description

A Talis Group client is seeking to hire a Maintenance Manager. This position is a ‘direct hire’ position. 

Fast growing manufacturer with great family culture seeks a Maintenance Manager for their Paris, KY plant. This position will lead and advance the Maintenance Department, administer maintenance inventory programs and support customer project requests. Position offers full benefit package.  Salary:  $80-$90K.

Highlighted Duties:

  • Design programs to improve the efficiency of this highly automated equipment
  • Develop standard processes and drive process improvement
  • Recommend capital expenditures to upgrade equipment and processes
  • Develop and administer safety programs
  • Provide training of team members in work practices that increase their range of skills
  • Participate in product launch or new equipment installations
  • Provide technical leadership for the plant needs

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience
  • 5 years progressive experience in Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have ability to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic prints
  • Must have experience troubleshooting PLC's, including Siemens and Allen Bradley
  • Must have strong problem solving / root cause skills
  • Fanuc robotics experience preferred
  • Experience in JIT environment required
