Job Description

A Talis Group client is seeking to hire Help Desk Support. This position is a ‘direct hire’ position. 

Our client is a well-established, highly respected law firm in Louisville (East End).  They have been ranked highly by U.S. News- Best Law Firm in several practice areas.  They are looking to hire a Help Desk Support Technician to serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance.  This position is full time and offers $50K, benefits package and free parking.  Great opportunity.  If you are a qualified candidate, apply now!

Highlighted Duties

  • Provide technical guidance to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve support tickets in a timely manner
  • Resolve issues with networks and other computer systems
  • Diagnose system errors and other issues
  • Provide daily support for email, network connectivity, peripheral equipment and system maintenance
  • Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
  • Assist in installation and maintenance of the networking infrastructure
  • Follow up to ensure full resolution of issues

Job Requirements

Highlighted Requirements

  • Microsoft Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
  • Microsoft 2019
  • Familiar with Juris, Trialworks (law firm specific) a plus!
  • Experience with network repairs and analysis
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid customer service skills with the desire to help people
  • Good communication and listening skills
